$4,000.00 Academic Scholarships

The Geneva Women’s Club is a not-for-profit philanthropic women’s organization dedicated to improving the lives of families in the Fox Valley area.

During May of 2025, the Geneva Women’s Club (GWC) will award two $4,000 academic scholarships to qualified students of the Geneva High School graduating class of 2025. The scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee of GWC members who will review all applications received at genevahsscholarships@gmail.com on or before the deadline of May 1, 2025.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on:

● Cumulative weighted GPA, including the fall semester 2024-2025.
● Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) indicated on the applicant’s parent’s current FAFSA application.
● Volunteer activities and time devoted to such activities.
● A one-page personal essay addressing: 1) the applicant’s educational goals and reason for intended field of study, 2) what the applicant has gained from participation in employment, extracurricular activities, and/or community service. The applicant may also add any other relevant information.

Scholarship recipients will be notified via telephone and/or email.

APPLICATIONS THAT DO NOT INCLUDE ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION WILL BE
CONSIDERED INCOMPLETE. Complete the application by typing into the document and/or handwriting into a printed copy of the application. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT AND PARENT/
GUARDIAN. Please send the completed application by 11:59 p.m. on May 1, 2025.
