About Living Well Cancer Resource Center:
Living Well is a nonprofit resource center that provides free, compassionate support to people in the Fox Valley and surrounding area who are facing cancer, as well as their families and caregivers. Living Well offers a wide range of supportive services and programs such as counseling, social work support, support groups, nutrition and cooking classes, gentle fitness and movement programs, therapy, stress management classes, a wig boutique, and more. All are offered at no cost, regardless of where a person receives medical treatment. These offerings help patients and families cope not only with the medical side of cancer, but also the emotional, nutritional, and practical challenges that come with diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
Why it Matters:
Cancer affects whole families, not just the person diagnosed. Living Well fills a vital gap by providing holistic, compassionate care that supports emotional well being, fosters community, and helps patients, and caregivers navigate what can be a difficult journey. By offering these services for free, Living Well ensures that healing and support are accessible to all, regardless of insurance of financial situation.
